Our Heritage

A name synonymous with pure silk in Mysore for 160 years

Our forefather L. Kadaiah migrated from Laderpet near Sira, Tumkur, and established a store on the main thoroughfare of the day - Dodda Pete, today's Ashoka Road - in 1860, during the reign of H.H. Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar III (Mummadi).

Ever since, our family has woven handloom silk for the erstwhile Mysore royal family, the Heggades of Dharmasthala, and discerning citizens of the old Mysore region.
